What is the height required to become a DM?

To become a DM, a candidate has to clear the CSE exam conducted under the Union Public Service Commission. If you clear this exam then you become an IAS officer. Qualification To Become DM

Any aspirant must have some qualification to apply for civil service exam or UPSC exam. Which are being told below. The minimum educational qualification is that the candidate should have at least a Bachelor’s degree. If a candidate has passed MBBS or any other medical examination but is yet to complete internship, then he/she can appear for this examination. The certificate of the university from which you have passed the final medical examination will have to be shown.

Age Limit

  • There is a different age limit for each category
  • If you belong to general category then your age should be between 21 years to 30 years.
  • For OBC category, this age limit has been kept from 21 years to 33 years with relaxation of 3 years.
  • There is a relaxation of 5 years for SC and ST and the age limit has been kept from 21 to 35 years.

The Nationality

To become an IAS, the candidate must be a citizen of India, Nepal or Bhutan. The candidate should be a Tibetan refugee whose father or ancestors came to India from January 1, 1962 for permanent settlement.

If a person is a citizen of Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Myanmar, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Uganda, Vietnam, Zaire, or Zambia and has come to India with the intention of permanently settling, then he can become an IAS.

Step by step process to become a DM

Choose the subject in which you are more interested in studying. If you enjoy biology then you can also keep biology from science stream. Similarly, you can also give this exam from Arts or Commerce subject.

Completed graduation

After passing the 12th exam, your next step is to pursue graduation. You can complete graduation from any stream to become an IAS. There is no fixed subject for this also. It would be better that you choose any subject from your mind here too. Do your graduation in the subject in which you like to study.

Pass the interview

After clearing the main exam, now your last step is to take the interview. In this, you are interviewed by big officers. Your mindset is also seen in this. This is a total of 45 minutes. After that you are sent for training. The training consists of three months of foundation course, Bharat Darshan, Phase 1 and then induction in the last, in which you are given a joining letter. Initially you get the post of Sub Divisional Officer (SDM), later after getting promotion you are made DM.
